School Travel Plan Awards
The Piazza were delighted to support Renfrewshire's School Travel Plan Awards by sponsoring the Prize for the Best Cycling Initiative for the second year running.
The awards celebrate schools or individual pupils and staff who show real enthusiasm and innovation in promoting sustainable travel.
The six award categories are Travel Planning School of the Year, Best Walking Initiative, Best Cycling Initiative, Best School Champion, Walker of the Year and Cyclist of the Year.
Pupils, teachers and parents are invited to nominate - through their school - any individual or group who they believe has made a special achievement or has been a great inspiration or role model in terms of greener, healthier travel to school.
Prizes for the awards include £100 gift vouchers for individual awards and £500 for the school named Travel Planning School of the Year.

Pupil Cyclist of the Year - Nicolas Rocks, St Charles Primary,
Special Award - Dorothy McGhee, Inchinnan Primary
The full cost of the ceremony and prizes was paid for through external funding donated by local businesses, including Finco contracts, The Piazza shopping centre, Farmer Autocare, Renfrewshire Leisure, Alpine Blinds, Glasgow Airport, The Rotary Club of Paisley Callants and Branding Boutique.
